MANUEL-TURIZO
Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The global recognition of his music has helped him break into mainstream Latin music. Una Lady Como Tu (his popular hit song from 2016) won an Colombian Kids Choice Award, the 2017 most popular Song. He released his debut long-player ADN for the Medellin-based Sony-distributed La Industria Inc. The album climbed to number 8 within the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca the album that was the Top Five smash hit in 2010, also featured Noriel alongside Ozuna. Mala Influencia was his collaborative effort with Noriel in the year 2020. The following year, Dopamina became his second album. In 2021, he sang an duet with TINI's popular track Maldita Foto. 2000 also saw the huge record La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo is a renowned musician, born into a musical family. Both his parents were both musicians. In interviews, Turizo declared that music is an essential part of his life. In his early years, he learned how to play the saxophone, ukulele and piano. The first goal was to be Veterinarian, however after his brother Julian encouraged him to take lessons with an Cuban musician, he rearranged his career plans.
